Tekvaly is looking for an experienced Software Quality Assurance Engineer in Pakistan for its client.

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will become a part of our development team and will be collaborating with software development staff & Hiring managers throughout multiple project life cycles. Outstanding listening skills, a genuine interest in fostering teamwork, a willingness to provide honest feedback, and extreme ownership are keys to the success of our projects.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the full QA testing lifecycle for small to mid-size projects that include execution of test cases to tracking and resolution of defects for changes.
• Develops, executes, and analyze manual test results.
• Design and write test plans and test cases for Regression, Non-Functional and Functional tests.
• Understands client usage of the software to develop appropriate automated test cases and acceptance test criteria.
• Provide suggestions for improvement of QA efficiency.
• Identify test KPIs for product quality and product reporting metrics.
• In uncovering defects also works with the development team to help determine the root cause.
• Keep up to date on the latest test software and frameworks.
• Perform all other related duties.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of proven working experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Knowledge of programming languages: JavaScript, Java, Python.
• Deep knowledge of SDLC & STLC.
• Experience with bug reporting life cycle.
• Ability to understand, write and execute test cases.
• Experience with API Testing using Postman.
• Proficiency in SQL and writing SQL queries.
• Experience with Automation testing.
• Thorough understanding of QA, QC, software QA methodologies, and tools.
• Working knowledge of different testing types & techniques.  
• Should have worked for a team following Agile development methodologies, including Scrum.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business or equivalent combination of industry related professional experience and education.
