Tekvaly is looking for a Portfolio Manager to join our client on contract to work remotely anywhere from Canada. Our client is a San Francisco Bay Area-based private equity firm with $1.2 billion of capital under management that pursues control investment opportunities primarily in North America. It focuses on lower- middle-market companies across a variety of industries, including business services, industrials, technology, consumer, and healthcare. Together with management teams, they drive sustainable growth in its portfolio companies by leveraging in-house operating partners and the Q Process, a proprietary and tested approach to value creation.
The Portfolio Manager will report to the Managing Director, Portfolio Operations – Technology. This role will be the primary engine driving the execution of technology value creation on plans across the Firm’s portfolio companies. Your mission is to operationalize the high-level technology strategies set by the Firm’s Operations Group Managing Director(s) and portfolio company leadership, ensuring that every project—from system migrations to infrastructure scaling—is delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with the Firm’s investment thesis. You will bridge the gap between strategic vision and "on-the-ground" implementation, allowing leadership to focus on long-term scaling and new acquisitions. Moderate travel may be required.
